Its accurate enough to display differences of as small as 1/10 of a dB and tough enough to take 150dB all day long. In the Average mode the unit starts with the green 90-110 db indicator lit up, hey green means go right? As the signal increases to 110.1 the yellow range indicator lights up to let the operator know that it is time to be careful. The system could be rockin for all it’s worth. At 130.1 db the red range light illuminates to indicate extreme caution. We know our spl meter can handle 150db can your system?
